is a colorfully illustrated book which is about a Duck who loves a rainy day because it brings out the colors in his world. This is a great way to introduce little ones to objects and colors on rainy day.
- The Digging-est Dog
by Al Perkins is abot Duke the dog who lived in a Pet store and does not know how to dig. Soon he learns it gets carried away with enthusiasm and dugs up the whole town making people angry. And then realises his mistake and asks for forgiveness. The rhyme, rhythm and illustrations are great!
- That's not my Puppy
Caillou: Who Lives in the Forest is a lift the flap book. Putti loves it tolift them and learn interesting things about the animals that live in the forest. What do you call a baby deer? Where does the beaver live? What do heron tracks look like?
The Foolish Tortoise is about a tortoise that decides one day that he is tired of being slow. He takes off his shell, in the hope to move fast. Soon he discovers that he misses his shell for: shelter, shade, and safety. He also realizes that he will never be fast, and when he finds his shell again, he gladly climbs back inside.
