Leaf family

Picking some leaves, twigs, pine cones etc while we go out for a walk has become a daily ritual for putti. Most of the time she throws them near the tree in front of our house before entering home. On days she gets them inside they end up as crayon rubbings like these. And once(too bad we havent done it again) we have played to make animals like here. Also have made faces like these.
This time i told we could use the leaves as face and then add other body parts to give it a human form. So first put our leaves pressed in between books to flatten. Then applied a thin layer of glue and stick it to paper. Later putti drew arms, legs and then added facial details.

Then we used slightly bigger leaves as the body and added other details to it.

Putti asked me to make dress for them so i painted the little dots and lines, but she wanted a full dress so i made another set like this, i know it looks very amateurish :)
